Benoit GRANIER (France)Composer

    Dr. Granier studied at the Paris Conservatory of Music (CNSMDP) where he won first Prizes in composition (Gerard Grisey), Orchestration (Denis Cohen) and Music Analysis (Christian Accaoui). He was commissioned by many institutions and musicians for new works, including Vienna “Wien Concertina” orchestra and the Beijing International Chamber Orchestra. His piece has been invited to perform in many prestigious places and festivals such as “The Zhongshan Concert Hall (Beijing), the China National Center for Performing arts (NCPA), Washington Smithsonian museum, Harvard University, New York’s Carnegie Recital Hall (Carnegie hall) and Manorouchi Arts Center performances (Tokyo-Japan). He is now the senior lecturer at Coventry university in UK.
